Thank you for attending “Exploring Knowledge Work in Today’s Philanthropy” hosted by the Council on Foundations….

Some thoughts that stayed with me from the discussion:
- Balancing sense of urgency and holding space for people to make meaning together… identifying what really supports communities.
- Being transparent with self about your organization’s capacity to truly engage in shared meaning making and when that is possible … don’t promise if you don’t have the capacity.
- Bridging institutional and community life, language, and priorities.
- Re-examining “the way we’ve always done things” … bravery and boldness in questioning relevance and function – how good it feels to collectively let something go.
I am Angela Frusciante and I founded Knowledge Designs to Change to partner with people and organizations who believe that knowledge work is about more than academics and legitimizing the status quo. Knowledge work is about how we, together, create the world and society we want to become.
Knowledge Designs to Change is an active, engaged, research and strategy practice dedicated to working with passionate, committed organizations who want to integrate knowledge processes with strategies for change.
I look forward to hearing more about your work and discussing how we can co-design processes that support your change efforts.

Check out this new online course created for changemakers who want to start, re-design, or simply reflect on knowledge practices. This course can be used as professional development for leadership, staff or grantees. It can be the beginning framework for engaged organizational growth or a process guide for communities of practice and collaboratives.
