It can be utilized for individual or organizational capacity building. The course can lead to the first level Knowledge Designs for Change Certificate.

The KD Certificate Series is designed as a coaching/practice-focused approach to the next three levels of knowledge design and implementation skills. Think of a graduate-style apprenticeship approach that is about learning and action in real-time.
Knowledge Opportunity Scan™
This signature process is beneficial to organizations, collaboratives or networks who want to utilize knowledge processes to maximize their change efforts and investments. The process can offer a comprehensive analysis or can be co-designed as an engaged analysis that provides simultaneous on-the-ground development of capacity, systems, and targeted tools needed for implementing the knowledge work.
Knowledge4Change Peer Discussion
Stop in for one or multiple discussions at any stage of your knowledge work journey. On the first Tuesday of every month, we will meet to share experiences, learn from guest speakers, and access new tools and topics to build our knowledge practice. This opportunity is also useful for those who need some peer connection while completing any aspect of the certification process.

Host a “Beyond the Buzz” Knowledge Discussion
If we take the jargon out of knowledge work in philanthropy and focus on shared meaning making, we can build promising practices to advance social change. This one-hour session includes informational materials and resources along with ample time for questions and group discussion to surface the emerging knowledge efforts of participants. Use this session to increase awareness amongst your peers or networks, to invite partners into an equity-driven knowledge project, or to kick-off a new knowledge function inside your foundation.
